Eriochloa michauxii (Poir.) Hitchc.

Habitat: Brackish or freshwater wet sites, usually open, or in hammocks
Florida status: Native
Recognition: Spikelets large (3.8-5.3 mm), often with the glumes jutting out at 90 degrees. The first glume formed into a small cup at the base of the spikelet.
